| ABOUT THE FINLANDIA MOTEL: Founded, built and operated by Finnish native Eila Halonen Rousseau and San Francisco native Bob Rousseau, the Finlandia has built a reputation of an affordable and friendly place that maintains the Scandinavian standard of cleanliness! On January 1, 2001 Bob and Eila retired and their daughter Kathy and her husband Tom purchased the business. The Finlandia Motel is located approximately 10 miles form the Mt. Shasta Board and Ski Park which offers cross country and downhill skiing in the winter and mountain biking and lift rides in the summer. The head waters of the Sacramento River is located at the Mt.
